I’m Munekuni Siankeow, ink-brush painting artist and owner of this gallery.
I use the traditional techniques of Japanese/Chinese ink painting
(brushstrokes and wash) with pigment colors to draw Japanese seasonal flowers and plants, my new artworks, in this online shop.

* All my artworks are original and one-of-a-kind. Not only do I draw and paint, I also mount Japanese washi and rice papers. Mounting is a process of stretching and reinforcing an artwork done on these papers with a stronger paper backing. Then I either mount it on an art panel again or frame it in a picture frame. This process is also employed in the making of Japanese art scrolls, washi lamps and lighting, etc.

* Mounting and framing to display an art could be quite troublesome, if not, costly, if an art piece you buy comes in a paper or canvas roll that requires you to visit a local framer. All my artworks are either mounted or picture-framed, ready to hang.

* Shipping and Handling
Artworks are shipped from Japan. They will be carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery and worldwide shipping with tracking system available.

* 作品は手漉きの和紙を使用しており、伝統的な工法で二重に補強しております。もともと手漉き紙は和風照明や掛軸、屏風などの工芸品に使われ、同じように補強して丈夫にできていますので、末永くお楽しみいただけけます。

* 作品は二重に補強してアートパネルに張り付け、紐を取り付けるまでの手作業もすべて完了しております。作業代は無料でご提供いたしますので、お届けしたらすぐに飾れます。

額縁付き作品　
* 額装済みです。 額装とは、作品にマットを装着して額に入れ、紐の取り付けなど行うことを言います。本商品は額装の仕上げまですべて完了しておりますので、そのほかの面倒な作業はせずに、お届けしたら、そのまま飾れます。
